Ocean Export Inc. was founded in January 2000 as a consolidator and exporter of U.S. food and non-foods brands.

Ocean Export operates as the purchasing, warehousing and logistics arm in the U.S. of notable distributors and retailers in Europe, the Pacific Rim, Latin America and the Middle East.

Ocean Export’s office and warehouse are located in Richmond, California, near the Port of Oakland and San Francisco International Airport. Ocean Export consolidates and loads ambient containers on site. Perishable products are shipped through third party logistics companies with locations in Los Angeles and South San Francisco. Strict controls are maintained in all locations. If preferred, Ocean Export will work with the freight forwarder/consolidation partner of the customer’s choice.

The shelf stable products that are consolidated in Ocean Export’s warehouse are piece counted and checked for damages prior to overseas shipping and dates are checked when applicable. Containers that are loaded at our premises are taken directly to the Port of Oakland, California, which is about 20 minutes away.

Ocean Export also regularly airships produce, fresh seafood, cheese, yogurt, deli meat, frozen meals, smoothies, etc and will also ship frozen containers.
